A nationwide exchange of experience at Słupskie Wodociągi. We hosted nearly 100 water and sewage industry experts.
On September 3, the Słupsk Wastewater Treatment Plant became a hub for a nationwide exchange of knowledge and experience. As part of Kemipol’s jubilee industry seminar, organized under the slogan “Water, technology, cooperation. 35 years of connecting,” our facility welcomed a group of nearly 100 water and sanitation specialists from all over the country.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate in practice how advanced projects address modern environmental and economic challenges. Guests had the chance to closely examine strategic investments aimed at developing the energy capabilities of Słupskie Wodociągi. Among the facilities presented were new installations, including a 1,000 m³ hydrolysis tank, a 2,700 m³ biogas storage tank, and modern energy storage systems.
This infrastructure is being developed as part of the “Słupsk Bioenergy Island” project, carried out by Słupskie Wodociągi acting as the leader of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster (SKB). The entire initiative is co-funded by the National Recovery Plan (KPO) resources.
The presence of such a large group of specialists was a great opportunity for the company to showcase the technological potential of the region. The circular economy and green energy solutions implemented in Słupsk have the potential to become an inspiration and a prime example for other enterprises across Poland.
The participation of Słupskie Wodociągi in this event represents a significant step forward in building lasting relationships within the water and sewage sector. Once again, the meeting proved that effective cooperation and knowledge sharing form the very foundation for the dynamic development of modern infrastructure nationwide.
