Members of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster
The strength of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster (SKB) lies in the diversity and experience of its members. The Cluster comprises local governments, municipal companies, regional development institutions, and private enterprises representing various economic sectors.
Local governments include:
City of Słupsk
City of Ustka
City and Commune of Kobylnica
Commune of Redzikowo
Commune of Ustka
Their participation ensures institutional stability and long-term development prospects for the SKB Cluster.
Municipal companies are responsible for transportation, waste management, water and sewage systems, sports facilities, and urban infrastructure. It is in these areas that innovative energy solutions are developed, such as energy recovery from sewage sludge, integration of renewable energy sources with heating systems, and energy optimization in public buildings.
The Pomeranian Regional Development Agency (PARR S.A.) also plays a key role, strengthening the region’s investment and innovation potential through its management of the Słupsk Special Economic Zone and the Słupsk Technology Incubator.
The Cluster also includes private companies from the food, processing, manufacturing, and energy sectors. Their participation allows for the integration of energy transformation with the local economy – industry becomes not only a consumer of energy but also an active partner in its generation, balancing, and optimization.
This structure makes SKB a platform for cooperation between local government and business, jointly shaping a safe and sustainable energy future for the region.
