Słupskie Wodociągi at “Hydroprezentacje 2026”
Critical infrastructure security, operational resilience of enterprises, and the challenges of energy transition were the main topics of the 28th National Conference “Hydroprezentacje 2026”, which took place in Krynica-Zdrój. The conference was organized by the Association of Water Utilities of the Śląskie Voivodeship, under the industry patronage of the “Wodociągi Polskie” Economic Chamber.
Among the keynote speakers was a representative of Słupskie Wodociągi, Andrzej Wójtowicz, President of the Management Board. He delivered a presentation titled “Providing Energy and Fuels for Critical Infrastructure in Crisis Conditions.” Discussing ways to strengthen the business continuity of municipal infrastructure, he referred to the experiences from Słupsk, highlighting the importance of initiatives such as the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster and the Słupsk Bioenergy Island in building local energy security and self-sufficiency.
A significant highlight of the conference was also the presentation of industry awards. During the gala ceremony, Andrzej Wójtowicz was honored with the prestigious title “Distinguished for the Water and Wastewater Industry,” awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the sector.
Active participation in the event and the received distinction confirm the role of Słupskie Wodociągi as a leader of energy transition in the region, setting modern standards in the water and wastewater industry.
