Słupskie Wodociągi once again joined the ranks of experts during the national conference titled “Practical Use of Benchmarking in Water and Wastewater Companies” in Gdynia. Our enterprise was represented at the event by the President of the Management Board, Andrzej Wójtowicz, who focused his presentation on a crucial question for modern companies: “Is benchmarking just numbers, or a tool for effective management?”
In the era of digitalization, merely collecting statistical data is only the beginning. The real challenge and the key to success lie in the ability to use these indicators to make accurate management decisions. In his presentation, the President emphasized that:
- benchmarking data allows for an objective evaluation of the efficiency of technological processes;
- the correct interpretation of indicators forms the foundation for investment planning, including projects such as the Słupsk Bioenergy Island;
- comparing ourselves with the best motivates the team to continuously improve service standards for our residents.
For us, benchmarking is a roadmap – it keeps us on track and helps us choose solutions that best serve our residents and the environment. Participation in this event, organized by the “Wodociągi Polskie” Economic Chamber, is a recognition of our company’s actions as a leader in innovation.
