
Information meeting on the activities of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster coordinator and participation in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) program

“Wodociągi Słupsk” sp. z o.o., acting as the Coordinator of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster, organized an information meeting for Local Government Units on May 10, 2024, at its headquarters. The objective of the meeting was to present the development vision for the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster and current activities related to participation in the KPO program.
The meeting was attended by authorities and employees from 5 Local Government Units that are members of the Cluster:
– City of Słupsk,
– City of Ustka,
– Kobylnica Commune,
– Redzikowo Commune,
– Ustka Commune.
The President of “Wodociągi Słupsk” sp. z o.o. presented a broad context of the development vision and operations of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster, along with completed ventures and planned works. He also informed the attendees that the Company received confirmation of a grant allocation of approximately 180,000 PLN for the development of the concept, within a competition for pre-investment activities under the KPO. Mr. Andrzej Mielczarek discussed the details of the tender procedure announced by “Wodociągi Słupsk” sp. z o.o. for the “Development of the development concept for the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster”. He outlined the assumptions and scope of the concept, stressing the necessity of gathering the required data from all cluster members, particularly from the local governments, to draft the document. The concept is intended to serve as the primary document defining future investment activities of the cluster members and to form the basis for applying for funding for these investments.
Mr. Piotr Lidzbarski pointed out the necessary actions on the part of the Local Government Units to standardize their current measurement data and inventory their energy resources and needs. He also discussed the principles of coordinating activities within the framework of the planned project execution under the KPO. During the joint discussion, the Local Government Units confirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation and engagement in the ongoing projects, as well as the justification for immediately beginning to inventory the activities currently undertaken in this area within their municipalities. It was agreed that it is necessary to establish standards that will enable the execution of detailed works under the current project and future actions of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster.
