Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster gains more time for strategic analyses and pre-investment projects
The implementation period for Stage II of the project “Development of Energy Competences of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster,” funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO), has been officially extended until December 31, 2026.
The company “Wodociągi Słupsk,” acting as the leader of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster (SKB) and the Final Beneficiary, together with its partners – the Pomeranian Regional Development Agency (PARR) and the Municipal Transport Company in Słupsk (MZK) – has gained additional time for the precise preparation of key pre-investment documentation.
The deadline extension and the updated project value were confirmed by a relevant amendment dated June 10, 2026, to the agreement concluded with the State Treasury – Ministry of Climate and Environment.
The main objective of the ongoing work is the substantive and technical preparation of the partners for the investment phase. As part of Stage II, comprehensive technical documentation is being developed, including, among others, construction designs, a development concept for the hydrogen and biomethane economy, as well as strategic analyses within the energy community of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster. These actions will bring us closer to creating the “Słupsk Bioenergy Island,” which will ensure energy independence for the city of Słupsk and the region.
Extended implementation deadline for Stage II of the project: December 31, 2026.
Total planned cost of Stage II of the project: PLN 1,509,107.30.
KPO co-financing for Stage II of the project: PLN 911,929.99.
Stage II of the project is covered by non-repayable support from the development plan under Investment B2.2.2/G1.1.2 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) – RES installations implemented by energy communities, Part A (pre-investment support): Activity A.1.: Development of existing energy clusters, Sub-activity: A.1a – Stage II.
