On September 22nd of this year, a conference on the utilization of biogas energy was held at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The main issue addressed during the meeting was the content of organic silicon (siloxanes) in biogas, which is produced as a result of the anaerobic digestion process of sewage sludge.
The meeting was attended by representatives of water utilities from Poland, as well as representatives of companies and research centers from Germany.
The exchange of experiences in the field of biogas upgrading contributes to the more efficient operation of the cogeneration units installed at the Słupsk Wastewater Treatment Plant.
