On June 30th, workshops on energy transition in municipalities were held at the company’s headquarters. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the practical and legal aspects of the discussed issues. The presented workshop topics provided answers to many important and burning questions, such as how to establish an energy cooperative, and allowed participants to get acquainted with new technologies supporting the development of distributed energy in municipalities. There were also discussions on energy clusters and their role in the energy transition of municipalities. Furthermore, the attendees had the opportunity to tour the wastewater treatment plant, including biogas-based cogeneration, classic and percolation digestion and co-digestion of sewage sludge and bio-waste, a 15,000 tons/year composting facility, and many other state-of-the-art solutions in the municipal sector.
