KPO demonstration project accelerated

Intensive implementation is underway for the project entitled “SBI Słupsk Bioenergy Island – Development of Energy Competencies of the SBC Cluster Coordinator,” which is covered by non-repayable support under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) for investment-related demonstration activities carried out by energy communities. Subsequent agreements under the project have been signed, including, among others:
On September 8, 2025, an agreement was signed for the supply and implementation of intelligent tools for monitoring and managing infrastructure at the level of energy delivery points (EDPs) within the water and wastewater system of the company “Wodociągi Słupsk” in the city of Słupsk, Redzikowo Municipality, and Kobylnica Municipality, with the company “Hydro – Partner” Sp. z o.o. based in Leszno.
On September 24, 2025, two agreements were signed:
- For the construction of an installation for heat recovery from treated wastewater using a heat pump together with an electrode boiler to balance surplus RES energy, with the company Enerko Energy Sp. z o.o. based in Kielce;
- For the supply, installation, and commissioning of a cogeneration unit with a capacity of approx. 1 MWe along with equipment, connections, apparatus, and software necessary for its proper operation and integration with existing cogeneration units, with the company FAST GROUP Sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw.
