On April 3–4, the 3rd Local Government Financial Congress was held in Sopot as part of the LocalTrends project. The President of the “Wodociągi Słupsk” company and the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster was invited to participate in one of the panels dedicated to the role of local governments in the energy transition. This edition of the congress addressed key topics regarding the financial future of local governments. The event brought together representatives from the government, local authorities, business, and academia. During the two-day congress, numerous thematic sessions were held, focusing on financial reform, investment financing, as well as the green and digital transitions. The program also included workshops and examples of successful investments, including Słupsk’s efforts toward the energy transition.
