We are pleased to inform you that the expert committee of the Water City Index ranking has recognized Słupsk’s achievements in water management, awarding the city of Słupsk first place in the main ranking for cities with powiat status within the “WATER CITY INDEX 2023. Ranking of water resource efficiency in Polish cities.” This is already the fifth edition of this popular ranking. The presentation of awards and statuettes took place during the 5th International Congress “City-Water-Quality of Life,” organized by the City of Wrocław and the Open Eyes Economy Summit. Andrzej Wójtowicz, President of the Management Board of “Wodociągi Słupsk” Sp. z o.o., was invited as a speaker to participate in a session focusing on the challenges that arise during the process of integrating the water sector into the circular economy in Polish cities. Marek Goliński, Vice-President of Słupsk, accepted the award on behalf of the city.
