We would like to inform you that a conference summarizing the investments implemented between 2014 and 2022 under projects co-financed by the European Union will be held on June 23–24, 2022. The event is organized by the company “Wodociągi Słupsk” and will take place at the premises of the Słupsk Technological Incubator.
On the first day, June 23, we will present the topics and technologies covered by the project: “Circular Economy in the Wastewater Treatment Plant along with the Expansion of the Water and Sewage Network in the Słupsk Agglomeration” – co-financed by the Cohesion Fund under the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme (POIiŚ) 2014–2020.
On the second day, June 24, we will present the topics and technologies covered by the project: “Utilization of Waste Heat from Biogas Cogeneration in the District Heating System of the City of Słupsk” – co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Programme for the Pomorskie Voivodeship (RPO WP) 2014–2020.
Both projects are substantively interconnected. For several years, as part of the initiatives of the Słupsk Bioenergy Cluster, we have been building a renewable energy community (RES) in Słupsk, as defined, among others, in the RED II directive. We utilize the energy potential of municipal infrastructure and local RES sources. We are preparing for new challenges and intend to continue leveraging funding from the Recovery Plan for Europe. The meeting in Słupsk will provide an opportunity to present our path toward achieving development priorities incorporated into virtually all EU strategic documents.
