On June 23–24, 2022, a conference planned by the “Wodociągi Słupsk” company took place, aimed at summarizing the investments completed by the enterprise between 2014 and 2022. The meeting attracted significant interest, with participation from the leaders of Słupsk and regional municipalities, industry representatives, as well as members of academia and business. The speakers’ short thematic panels were designed to present often complex and obscure topics in an accessible and engaging manner, encouraging further exploration of knowledge in this field. Over 200 people attended the event. The great interest in topics concerning green energy, energy self-sufficiency, and the utilization of waste heat suggests that it will be necessary to create space for organizing further substantive meetings in the future. It would be highly justified to continue this thematic narrative, taking into account the development opportunities of the local market and the region by utilizing the energy potential inherent in the technological solutions of enterprises.
