“Wodociągi Słupsk” at the ENVICON 2025 Congress

The 29th ENVICON Environmental Protection Congress took place in Łódź, bringing together experts, local government officials, scientists, and municipal sector representatives. The congress highlights the latest trends in the development of modern environmental management and serves as a platform for exchanging experiences and presenting innovative solutions in the municipal and energy sectors.
This year’s edition was also attended by “Wodociągi Słupsk”, which actively engaged in discussions regarding the energy transition of the municipal sector. During the Panel Discussion – Energy Transition Investors Forum, President Andrzej Wójtowicz took the floor in a discussion concerning the key challenges associated with the energy transition of the municipal sector. The panel covered topics such as:
- Investment financing models for municipalities and municipal companies;
- Opportunities for utilizing renewable energy sources (RES) in municipal services;
- Methods for increasing energy self-sufficiency and resilience to crisis situations;
- Development paths set by new regulations and the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP).
The presence of “Wodociągi Słupsk” at the ENVICON 2025 Congress was not only an opportunity to follow the latest trends and exchange experiences with experts from across the country, but also to showcase the company’s practical solutions that enhance the security and efficiency of municipal services for residents. These include the project implemented by the Company: “Utilization of Waste Heat from Biogas Cogeneration in the District Heating System of the City of Słupsk.”
