We are pleased to inform you that our Company has been invited by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) to participate in workshops co-organized with the World Health Organization (WHO), dedicated to water health safety and risk management in water supply systems.
The workshops will take place from March 23 to 25, 2026, in Warsaw and will focus on the practical implementation of Water Safety Plans (WSP) and a risk-based approach throughout the entire drinking water supply chain. The program also covers issues related to health risk assessment and aligning preventive measures with the requirements of Directive 2020/2184 on the quality of water intended for human consumption. The training will be attended primarily by representatives of the State Sanitary Inspection bodies.
“Wodociągi Słupsk” is the only water and sewerage utility invited to join this group. We regard this as a great distinction and a confirmation of our risk management efforts, which have been consistently implemented since 2009.
During the workshops, the Company will be represented by Piotr Czerwczak – Plenipotentiary of the Management Board for Water Supply Security.
Following the training, we will utilize the acquired knowledge to further improve our safety systems and develop industry cooperation in the area of Water Safety Plans.
